DM Competition Rules
1. No cheating will be tolerated
Punkbuster will be in operation during each game and its settings will include the MD5 tool
Anyone found to be cheating will be removed from the competition.
The referee's decision will be final.
Any player who's guid appears on Punkbusters master ban index or is known to
be listed on the MBI will automatically be excluded from the competition.
2. All games will be played in a friendly
fashion
Any player being abusive to another will be
asked to leave the game
and will be removed from the competition.
3. A player may sign up and take part under one
name only
Anyone found to be playing in another group under
another name will be removed from
the competition.
4. The referee must be obeyed
If asked to leave the server by the appointed
referee you must do so
without delay.
5. Method of Scoring
A final score board screenshots will be published on this website after the last game of the
evening and the top players by kills will go forward to the next stage.
In the event of a tie or equal number of kills a players total deaths will
be used. Anyone leaving the game before the final screenshot
has cleared
will be unable to
progress to the
next stage. DON'T BE IN A RUSH TO LEAVE
6. High
Pings
Players thought to be spoiling the game-play for others with
excessively high pings may be asked to leave the game by the appointed
referee.
Players rates should be set between 8000 - 10000
The servers max
rate is capped at 10000 but players with rates below 8000 may be removed
from the server.
7. Start Times
You are expected to be on the server at the start of your game.
The server will be password protected and passwords will be emailed to
players in each group well in advance of their games. If you are NOT on the
server at the time your game is due to start your place may be taken by a
reserve player. If you turn up late and your place has been taken you may be
asked to leave.
8. Weapons and Outfitting
Games will be played WITHOUT weapon pickups
so you will be able to choose
your weapon with the exception of the USAS, MM1, ANM14 and RPG Launcher which will
not be allowed. Thermal and night vision are permitted as is the M203.
9. Server Settings
Servers used to host DM competition will be OSP - Normal Damage

11. GUID's***
Players GUID's will be logged during the qualifying rounds.
Each player must have the same GUID used in the qualifiers for the semi finals
and final or they will be disqualified.
12. Problems Connecting To The Server
It is your responsibility to ensure you can connect to the server using
Punkbuster and have the correct version of OSP installed. (osp-clientside-1.0L-BETA.zip)
Players should test they can do this before the competition
begins.
The game will not be delayed if you are unable to connect.

Answer... If only 8 players turn up for their game....
The top 7 would still qualify
