Ecuador Mountains by <<<ALIEN>>> is one of my favourite CTF maps. Very RMG
feel to it with the classic 3 ways of attack. Centre, Left using a tunnel or
right through the mountains. Highly recommended for CTF

Some time ago when re-installing SoF2 and before adding the gold patch to bring my 3 year old CD up to date, I noticed there were lots of servers still running version 1.00 I decided to do a duplicate SOF2 installation in a second folder on my PC, but running v1.00. I have to say its like another dimension with many hundreds of players never seen on the gold version. You can add v1.00 in about 4 minutes, why not give it a try:) There are more people playing RMG than on gold!!

Playing SOF2 v1.03
Some months after SoF2 was launched a number of modifications were made to the original game which included bug fixes, new weapons, Punkbuster anti cheat software and additional maps. This update, called the Gold Patch changed your original game to v1.03. It was intended to replace to 1.00 version but if you make a copy of your original v1.00 files before applying the patch you can still play both versions.

Killerloop Hey everyone, how is everyone? i have some bad
news....I'm sure you all know and remember Mr.Bruce,
super good player from DoW, did a lot for the sof2
community...well today he died from a bike accident :(
Very bad news for the sof2 community. My heart
goes out for his family and friends! I'm still
shocked...RIP Mr.Bruce and thankx for all the hours
spent teaching me how to play sof, 90% of what i know
you teached me. Cya in another life...and we will have
some beers together.

Slug Oh no what terrible news. Thank you for letting
us know Killerloop. My thoughts go to his family. We
his online friends will miss him. Such a cruel
thing. RIP the one and only Mr Bruce. I'm really

Goodmushin Killerloop? Is this for real? i am very
sorry. I have know Mr bruce as a great
player and also nice person. I can only
think of good moments. My best goes out to

50_BELLIES I am not long home from
holiday and read an e-mail
from Slug with the terrible
news about Mr.Bruce.... :(
Even though I never met many
of the people who play SOF2
I feel like I know them all
and to lose someone in such
a way makes it hard to take
in.... I just hope that
Mr.Bruce didn't suffer and
that his family find out
some more information as to
what happened... It is a
terrible tragedy .... I
offer my deepest condolences
to the Family Circle.

cheat,

ups
knows
that
the
game
gets
under
your
skin

point
making
you
forget
its
a
game.

big

and

close
knit
so a

SpO.on Sorry to hear about Mr Bruce :^( I never knew him but reading back on the comments it seems he made a lot of friends here so I'd like to offer my deepest sympathy to his family. Hope everyone else here is doing good cya on sof soon when i get around to stickin it on my puter again.
