Holiday pictures from my
holiday USA April 2013.....
The New York Skyline with the new One World Trade
Centre (Freedom Tower) it is almost complete. I took
the photograph from Newark Airport which is
approximately 10 miles away as the crow flies.
This is a photograph of a
British Vulcan Bomber at the 8th Air Force Aircraft
Museum at a place called Bossier City in Louisiana.
This next photograph is of a
Blackbird SR71/A at the
8th Air Force Aircraft Museum at
Bossier City in Louisiana.
This photograph is of a large
fruit shop shaped like a HUGE Orange, it is called
"The BIG Orange"..... I wonder why LOL.
This photograph is of the USS
Lexington an Aircraft Carrier used as a floating
museum, it is at Corpus Christi in Texas at the Gulf
Coast.
Lastly a picture of "The Alamo"
at San Antonio Texas... It is situated at Downtown
San Antonio and was very busy with many visitors but
it was worth seeing.

This is a photograph of the
Gateway Arch in St. Louis ,it is 630 ft. tall and
you can take a tram ride up to the top... I took
this photograph from a Mississippi Riverboat.

This is a picture of some
rockets (for Miss Tick LOL) outside the SAC Museum
near Ashland Nebraska, there were some Motel T Fords
there the day I was there on a tour... they looked
great.
The Willis Tower in Chicago was
worth a visit it is the tallest building in North
America.......
From the Willis Tower "Skydeck"
the Skydeck sits out on the 103rd floor you are
standing on a sheet of glass 1,358 feet above the
ground looking straight down......
I also visited Buffalo Bills
Museum at a place called LeClaire, Iowa......
Lastly I visited the first ever
KFC (Sanders Cafe) at Corbin in Kentucky this was
where the Colonel started out.... MMMMMMMMMMMMM....

in Florida 2011.....
Enjoying a Large Butterbeer at
the Harry Potter World in Universal Studios.... It
was very frothy and tasted great.....

Probably the most famous beach
in the world.... Daytona Beach the pier was
undergoing some restoration work when we were there
in February 2011 I am sure it is finished by
now......
After we had returned to our
car the beach looked like this a huge storm had come
in from the Atlantic.....

Grand Canyon I couldn't get over how brown the

the Venetian Hotel they had singing Gondoliers it
was amazing.....

I took this photograph of the Hoover Dam and the
new ByPass bridge from the helicopter on our
Papillion helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon it was a great
view...

I took this photograph at the Blackbird Airpark
in Palmdale California I drove about 300 miles to
get there from Las Vegas...
I also went to Santa Monica at the Pacific Coast
this pic was taken at the end of the Santa Monica
Pier the beach in the background was amazing...

Here are a few pictures from 50_BELLIES on holiday in
Canada...
It is a beautiful country but they have very cold
winters Brrrrrrr...... :)
Niagara Falls was also very spectacular to see and
hear as the water makes a lot of noise... we went on
the Maid of the Mist and it was quite wet hehehe.
The CN Tower was spectacular, we had a meal up in the
revolving restaurant and the view was terrific... not
for the person who has a fear of heights lol

The SR71 "Blackbird" is at the Space Centre in Huntsville Alabama,
it was a worthwhile drive to see
all the rockets and there is a space shuttle on
display.
We stayed at Heartbreak Hotel in Memphis and went
to Graceland.. it was well worth the visit.
Picture with the cannon was taken at Fort Loudon
Tennessee a rebuilt British Fort, the fort was built
from original plans....
